I and Dan went clubbing. It was interesting to see peoples reactions to our characters’, people wouldn’t talk to dans and I got comments about why I choose to be a furry. People on second like only seem interested in talking to attractive looking character designs. Which I found strange as more than likely the best looking characters in second life wouldn’t look that nice in real life hence why they chose there character.

This as a Japanese area I found near a beach and it had little huts. I didn’t stay here long as there wasn’t much to do.

This was a character called Seraya I meet in the tutorials. We spent a bit of time looking around second life. We found a cloths shop where women could buy clothes from. I thought it was all well designed but very strange why people would want to go this far.

This was a club a girl took me two but when I got there I got told I wasn’t allowed in as a furry so I had to change my head to a normal one which I wasn’t very happy about. I then got told I wasn’t allowed in with a tail so I ended up leaving. Me and Dan are planning on going in getting thrown out as a joke.

This was an area in Nova I found where I first came across dance balls. You click on these balls and your avatar animations a dance moment.

There’s an area in the tutouils section why you can learn to drive cars and other circles. There’s an image of me driving a car and one of me sitting on top of a car as an avatar drove it around. You can buy cars in second life and customise them, but I don’t see the point, feel that’s going too far into it.

When I meet Dans character, Bongalong Bonior. This was in a sex style shop selling skins and sexy outfits for peoples avatars. I found this really strange how people take this piece of software way to seriously.

This is my Avatar concept ideas. I decided to go with the fox outfit for my character as I thought it would be different and I wanted to see people’s reactions to my Avatar as I got the idea second life would be full of posers trying to pull in a virtual environment and it would be about looks. I looked at a standard outfit Avatar at a normal size, then an over weight 1, then 1 with leopard skins pants. I choose the normal avatar.
